WBA ASIA Convention 2024 successfully starts with 140 attendants in HoChiMinh city, Vietnam of Aug.9, 2024.
WBA HQ arrived to celebrate this important event in Asia.

Nikita Zon (Rus) acquired WBA ASIA CENTRAL Super Middleweight title by TKO 6R against Odiljon Aslonov (Uzb) on Nov.30 at Yekaterinburg, Russia. WBA ASIA created sub title as WBA ASIA CENTRAL to focus on Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. Thank you for RCC Promotions and Russia Boxing Federation to hold this important fight as the first.

Felmy Sumaehe acquired WBA ASIA FEMALE Super Flyweight title by UD over Shanell Dargan. This fight was very competitive and showed what boxing is towrds boxing fans. Felmy is former WBA ASIA female champion at Bantamweight division. Super Flyweight is better to fit as her division.

Ongen Saknosiwi acquired WBA ASIA SOUTH Super Featherweight title by KO 3R Saharat Taehirun.

Ongen and Saharat both downed in the 1st round and Saharat downed twice in 3R. Finally, Ongen acquired title by KO. It was great fight and congratulations!!

Hye-Soo Park acquired WBA ASIA FEMALE Light Flyweight title by TKO 5R over Bang-Un Kim. Due to Ryu-Kyung Suh's ankle injury, scheduled title fight updated as Light Flyweight division.

WBA ASIA FEMALE Light Flyweight title between Hea-Su Park vs Bang-Un Kim. Both made their weights. This fight was originally scheduled as WBA ASIA FEMALE Minimumweight title for Park vs iconic Ryu-Kyung Suh. However, Suh's ankle injury fight card has been changed.
The winner will fight against Suh at Minimum or Light Fly division! For Korea female boxing, cheers!

Homjui acquired WBA ASIA Super Lightweight title in Seoul against Korea prospect Yoon Tak on October with impressive fight. By this outside victory, Homjui becomes young rising prospect in Thailand boxing.

Vietnam Boxing Commission (President, Mr.Chris Luu) displayed history of boxing in Vietnam at VBC building in HoChiMinh city. WBA ASIA landed and did the first international title match in Vietnam history. We are very proud of it.
