The year of 2025 would be our 30th year as an official regional body of World Boxing Association.

Since 1995, WBA started independent regional activity for developing Asia boxing market through WBA PABA.
As of 2017, we updated the name as WBA ASIA due to environmental reasons.

During our 29 years of activities, we have developed new boxing markets such as China, Vietnam, Mongolia, etc. This dedicates a lot toward our beautiful sport of boxing.

Currently, WBA ASIA Ecosystem has been developing as the above diagram. We firmly believe one of our important roles is to connect between grassroot and international stages. In addition, we have focued on quality of title bouts, specially our regular titles are very exciting and close fights. Moreover, our proud WBA certificated ring officials are doing great work as neutral judgement.

We will improve our activities for upcoming years. Our new plan is not easy but we would try!

Tsendraatar is back in action. Top Mongolian prospect and former WBA ASIA Super Featherweight champion, Tsendbaatar Erdenebat will fight against high profile Pedro Bernal Rodriguez for WBA ASIA CENTRAL Lightweight title on Feb.15 in growing city of Ulaanbataar, Mongolia.

On February 21, Kyrgyzstan’s Dilmurod Satybaldiev and Tanzania’s Boniface Saguda will square off in Istanbul, Turkey, with the WBA Asia light heavyweight championship at stake. Satybaldiev is no stranger to World Boxing Association gold. In 2015, he captured the WBA Continental super middleweight title with a split-decision victory over Dmitry Sukhotskiy.

However, his career hit a pause from 2017 to 2021. Since returning to the ring, he’s had a mixed run, tallying three wins and three losses. Saguda, on the other hand, is stepping onto foreign soil for the first time in his career. The 31-year-old Tanzanian had a rough start, suffering a knockout loss in his 2021 debut against Magambo Christopher. But he’s been on a tear ever since, rattling off 10 straight wins—nine of them by knockout.

With both fighters eyeing championship glory, expect an intense battle when they collide in Istanbul.

Sensational KO defense!! Russian prospect, Pavel Sosulin (9(4KO)-0(0)-0), successfully defended his WBA ASIA Middleweight title against Carlo Pacaro (12(8KO)-0(0)-0) by KO 3R in Yerevan, Armenia. Through this victory, Sosulin recorded 10 wins with 5KO and still undefeated. Big congratulations!

Russian prospect, Pavel Sosulin (9(4KO)-0(0)-0) has his 1st defense match against Carlo Bacaro (12(8KO)-0(0)-0). Two undefeated boxers passed wiegh-in at Yerevan, Armenia. It would be very competitive fight start of WBA ASIA for 2025!!
