Vietnam Boxing Commission (VBC), the host of WBA ASIA Convention 2024

In professional boxing in Vietnam, the inauguration of national base Vietnam Boxing Commission was a great news and welcomed by whole Vietnam boxing industry since there was only the city base HoChiMinh Boxing Federation existed.

VBC is always trying to find the best way as a sole professional boxing commission in Vietnam territory.

For their regulative activities, VBC held seminars twice for ring official, inspector, promoter, trainer with WBA ASIA. Amazing over 120 attendants were together to show how big potential Vietnam has. Encourage their bigger steps to go foward!

*Avzalbek Kuranbaev - Current WBA ASIA Super Welterweight champion, the pride of Tajikistan. Currently, Tajikistan has under 30 professional boxers.

*Hong-Dat Vo - Former WBA ASIA Lightweight. Although he retired as a boxer right after title aquisition, Vo was one of the most prospects in Vietnam.

From 1995 at China to 2024 at Vietnam, we have 29 years history of official reginal body of gorgious WBA. Although current Asia boxing is not like past time, we are always developing new markets and new plans for the betterment of this beautiful sport.

China to Vietnam, geographically several hours between, our boxing journey took almost 30 years. What an amazing story and endeavor by WBA as a pioneer.

Ibragim Estemirov acquired WBA ASIA Super Middleweight title against Gabriel Oluwasegun Olanrewaju by UD (99-90, 99-91, 99-91) in Moscow, Russia on Jun 10.

Gabriel Kocsis became the first WBA ASIA Bridgerweight champion in Moscow, Russia. Congratulations.

Yuttapong Tongdee defended WBA ASIA Bantamweight title by UD over Giuliano Fantone at Spaceplus Bangkok on June 1, 2024. Yuttapong located at WBA world ranking No.12 of Bantamweight division and officially recorded as 15(9KO)-0(0)-0. One step closer to the world!

Aleksei Papin (Rus) acquired WBA ASIA EAST Cruiserweight title by sensational KO 2R over Isaac Chilemba (Mwi) in Balashikha, Russia on May 24. Prospect Papin is one step closer to the top class.

Precious victory at beautiful city, Hangzhou. Kittisak Klinson (Tha, 8(5KO)-1(1)-0) acquired WBA ASIA Welterweight title over Min Nuo (Chn, 6(2KO)-3(2)-0) by SD in Hangzhou, China. Kittisak Klinson is the winer of the tournament program "The Fighter" in Thailand. Big congratulations!!

Weigh-in is done for WBA ASIA Welterweight title between Min Nuo (6(2KO)-3(2)-0) and Kittisak Klinson (7(5KO)-1(1)-0). This is an important event to be operated by local commission, CBF (China Boxing Federation). Now, CBF is the only authorized professional boxing local commission in China. We hope China boxing to be more prosperous. Our long time promoter Liu Gang and Terry Laosuwanway cooperated this time for this event.

Alessio Bisutti acquired WBA ASIA Heavyweight title against Naphat Ngoenbamrung by KO 4R. Alessio and Napaphat showed their best for the title with very exciting exchanges. Alessio recorded 6(5KO)-0(0)-0 by this victory.

Phatiphan Krungklang stunned by one punch KO against prospect Ibrahim Chabane at 2R 1:58'. The fight was very excited and Phatiphan acquired WBA ASIA SOUTH Super Lightweight title. Big Congratulations.

Hin-Ting Chan from Hong Kong acquired WBA ASIA FEMALE Light Flyweight title by UD 10R over Wisita Sririttidet. Chan recorded 6(2KO)-0(0)-0 by this victory. The fight was competitive and excited at Spaceplus Bangkok.
