Vietnam Boxing Commission and Vietnam Boxing Federation host WBA ASIA ring official seminar at HoChiMinh city, Dec.16-17, 2023.

80 Vietnamese ring officials registered for the seminar and they listen and learn to become professional boxing referee and judge. WBA ASIA great instructors are Silvestre Abainza, Nowel Haduca, Gregorio Ortega, and Salven Lagumbai with setting normal instructions and exercise sessions as well.

WBA ASIA has developed professional boxing in Vietnam since 2019 as a pioneer. Despite of various difficulties, we keep developing professional boxing in Vietnam with innovative people.

Mr.Chris Luu elected as the president of Vietnam Boxing Federation which governs the sport of boxing in Vietnam under the government’s authorization. After his election, Mr.Luu formed Vietnam Boxing Commission as the sole professional boxing governance body in Vietnam under the government approval, and he emphasized that the most important part of professional boxing is ring officials with pro-boxing rules knowledge background. Mr.Luu wants to develop professional boxing in Vietnam from the bottom with the historic WBA.

By their great endeavors, we firmly believe Vietnam will get another chapter in professional boxing industry.

WBA ASIA Light Flyweight champion, Arvin Jhon Paciones (6(4KO)-0(0)-0), will defend his title against experienced Kitidech Hirunsuk (11(6KO)-5(0)-0) at beautiful Spaceplus in Bangkok on upcoming Dec.28.

VBF (Vietnam Boxing Federation) creates VBC (Vietnam Boxing Commission) for professional boxing under governmental approval and support. They would organize this important seminar.

Singapore night was recorded as KO parade! First ever Vietnamese referee, Thi-Nhat-Le Bui, did great job to address our 3 knock down rule at WBA ASIA EAST Super Welterweight title.

WBA ASIA EAST Super Welterweight title : Abdelelah Karroum (Singapore) won over Passakron Yakkala (Thailand) by KO 1R 2:36 (10 Rds.)
WBA ASIA EAST Super Middleweight title : Darryl Edmund Kho (Singapore) won over King Fahd (Indonesia) by TKO 4R 1:00 (10 Rds.)

Weigh-in done for WBA ASIA EAST Super Welterweight title. Abdelelah Karroum and Passakron Yakkala passed as 152.3lbs and 151.6lbs respectively.

Weigh-in done for WBA ASIA EAST Super Middleweight title. Darryl Edmund Kho and King Fahd passed as 167.7lbs and 166.6lbs respectively. Good luck!

We do another first ever in professional boxing. First ever Vietnamese ring official will go abroad to officiate WBA ASIA double header in Singapore on November 23, 2023.

Thi-Nhat-Le Bui has been serving in VBF as a ring official, and she has various experiences as referee and judge. She understands professional boxing very well and skillful neutral ring official which meet our requirements as an international ring official. WBA ASIA could develop and reach her through excellent events in recent years by SSC/Shadow Ent. in Vietnam. Hopefully, her this journey would be successful and helpful for Vietnam boxing industry.

Sensational De-Kang Wang (8(3KO)-0(0)-0, WBA no.15) confirmed to defend his WBA ASIA Super Bantamweight title against Michael Bravo (14(7KO)-3(1)-0) in Wenshan city of China on Dec.2.

Wang acquired WBA ASIA EAST Super Bantamweight title on Nov.24, 2022, after that, acquired WBA ASIA Super Bantamweight regular title against his local rival Jun Zhao by TKO.

Yihao Wang (13(8KO)-4(3)-0) acquired WBA ASIA SOUTH Super Middleweight title by UD against Dae-Hyun Back in Kaiyuan city of China. 96-94 for two judges and 97-93.
