Over 130 attendees have participated in the seminar hosted by Vietnam Boxing Commission. The seminar included great contents as governance body, inspection, promoter, trainer. Very successful kick off WBA ASIA seminar for Vietnam along with VBC (Vietnam Boxing Commission) and VBF (Vietnam Boxing Federation). We introduced general understanding of governance body, supervisor, inspection courses. 120 attendees (inspectors, promoters, trainers) are participated in this seminar. We could re-confirm Vietnam has bright future of boxing. Thank you, Mr.Chris Luu, the president of VBF/VBC. We will keep supporting Vietnam boxing market!

Zhaoxin Zhang, China 11(6KO)-2(1)-1, got KO victory over Russian prospect , Evgeny Romanov 19(12KO)-0(0)-0 for WBA Bridgerweight Elimination bout at Yekaterinburg on Feb.10. Zhang acquired WBA ASIA Cruiserweight title on August of 2023 in Dubai and he moved up for Bridgerweight division. By this victory, Zhang becomes mandatory challenger for WBA Bridgerweight champion Evgeny Tishchenko.

We keep supporting to develop new country. WBA ASIA will do 2nd seminar for Vietnam boxing industry regarding governance body, inspection, trainer and meeting with top promoters. Always, simply the pioneer!

Kulbir Dhaka (India) won over Shahir Afridi (Pakistan) by UD with scored 96-94 by all judges. By this victory, Kulbir Dhaka acquired WBA ASIA SOUTH Middleweight title at Spaceplus Bangkok.

Weigh-in done. Shahir Afridi (Pakistan) 5(2KO)-0(0)-1 and Kulbir Dhaka (India) 7(4KO)-2(2)-0 made their weights as 159.8lbs and 157.8lbs respectively. They fight for WBA ASIA SOUTH Middleweight title at Spaceplus Bangkok.

De-Kang Wang successfully defended WBA ASIA Super Bantamweight title against Renz Rosia by UD at Bangkok with scoring 99-91, 98-92 and 100-90.

At Bangkok, WBA ASIA addressed ring official seminar for referee and judge. Around 30 Chinese future ring officials attended.

WBA ASIA launches collaboration project of WBA ASIA National Tournament with local commission. We encourage from grass root to international. Our collaboration would be together with international platform as well. 

For this national tournament, we would try to adopt new try out in boxing as Golden Round system in case of Draw. It makes our tournament to be exciting and entertaining.

After this basement tournament, we will introduce next one. Lets go to be with WBA family!!
